Follow the A1 south, passing the A64 turn (sign posted to Leeds ). The A1 south leaves the main carriageway approx. 2 miles south of the A64 junction. Remain on the main carriageway (outer three lanes), which becomes the M1. Follow the road for approx. 7 miles.
Leave the M1 at junction 44 (A639). At the round about at the top of the slip road take the third exit (passing over the M1). Immediately there is a second round about take the first available exit (first actual road is no entry'). Follow this road for 1 mile, passing straight through 2 roundabouts. Traffic merges from the left at two points. At the second merge' get into the left hand lane. This lane joins the M621 north (into Leeds ).
After entering the 50 mph zone, keep to the middle/ outside lane remaining on the M621 until junction 2, sign posted for the A643 (inner ring road). Elland Road Football ground is on the left, beyond the junction.
Leave at this junction and go ¾ of the way round the roundabout and join the A643, inner ring road. After ¾ mile there is another roundabout (Armley Gyratory).
Take the 3rd exit A647 towards Armley (2 nd is entrance to British Gas and so isn't sign posted). Follow the road for ¾ mile. It is a dual carriageway up the hill, which then turns into single carriageway. After ¾ mile there are a set of lights (Mikes Carpets' just beyond). Go straight over (continuing on the A647).
After ½ mile there is a slip road to turn right in the central reservation just opposite a Kentucky Fried Chicken'. Turn right here onto Armley Ridge Road .
The road rises slightly, then continues down a hill to the Tee' junction at the end. Turn right, down the hill. This is Wyther Lane (up the hill is called Cockshot Lane).
Just after The Ancestor' pub on the right there is a bridge. Immediately before the bridge is the entrance to Canal Wharf . (The road bends to the right over the bridge, the industrial estate is straight on.) We are in Unit 1, which is directly in front of you to the right.
